Dear students,
In this web-page, you will find all the course materials neccessary to pass the course except for the coursebook: Javorčíková: World Literature (to be obtained from Ms. Medovičová).
I recommend you to print all the sources and use them as needed:
2) SEMINAR ACTIVITIES - WILL BE COMEPLETED LATER
3) MATERIALS FOR YOUR FINAL ESSAY = 100% OF YOUR FINAL GRADE:
3.0 List of topics with students´s names & peers to review (due April 6, 2021)
3.1 Instructions for the final essay - read in CB 190-200. Not available here.
3.2 Structure of your final essay
3.3 List of topics for your final essay - select 1 topic no later than week 2.
3.4 Sample essay - careful this is NOT an "A" essay.
3.5 Peer responses - will be needed in week 7 and after.
Submitting procedure of your final draft: see the lesson plan.
I will grade it and send my commentary back to you by e-mail. If you want to improve your grade, you have to write an entire new essay on a new topic. If you do not send your final draft by April 30 (in case of illness, scan the doctor´s certificate or report the reason of your absence by e-mail), you will fail the course and receive Fx, Fx, F.
I hope we will manage this well and your grades will reflect your effort you put into your essay. All the best to you, Jana
Good luck with your studies,
Stay safe,
Javorčíková, your instructor.
