The V4 Humanities Education for the Climate. Diagnoses – Best Practices – Recommendations  [HEC]

Projekt je realizovaný v rámci strategického partnerstva programu Visegrad Fund Strategic Grants program (No. 22020071). Jeho koordinátorom je Sliezska univerzita v Katoviciach a partnermi sú: Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave, Štátna poľská škola v Maďarsku, Univerzita Palackého v Olomouci a Univerzita Mateja Bela v Banskej Bystrici.

Hlavným cieľom projektu HEC je upriamiť pozornosť na humanitný rozmer klímy. Sústreďuje sa najmä na oblasť vzdelávania zodpovedajúceho potrebám 21. storočia. Odborníci z oblasti humanitných vied (literárni vedci, kritici, jazykovedci, historici, didaktici) a pedagógovia z praxe pôsobiaci v krajinách V4 na rôznych stupňoch vzdelávania vytvoria systémový, viacúrovňový návrh klimatickej edukácie, ktorý dostane problematiku súčasného stavu klímy a hrozieb s ním súvisiacich do povedomia spoločnosti. Projekt HEC geograficky zahŕňa všetky krajiny V4, pretože klimatické zmeny a ich dôsledky nepoznajú hranice. Klimatické vzdelávanie v susediacich krajinách prispeje k obmedzeniu ničenia atmosféry. Navrhnuté formy a metódy vzdelávania, ktoré je symbiózou tradičných prístupov a digitálneho vzdelávania, by mali vytvoriť novú kvalitu vzdelávania.     

Projekt je spolufinancovaný vládami Česka, Maďarska, Poľska a Slovenska ako Vyšehradský grant z Medzinárodného vyšehradského fondu. Poslaním fondu je podpora myšlienky udržateľnej regionálnej spolupráce v strednej Európe.

Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica is a partner in The V4 Humanities Education for the Climate. Diagnoses – Best Practices – Recommendations  [HEC]

This is a project implemented under the strategic partnerships of the Visegrad Fund Strategic Grants program (No. 22020071). The project coordinator is the University of Silesia in Katowice, and the other partners are: Comenius University in Bratislava, Polish National School in Hungary, Palacky University in Olomouc and Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica.

The main goal of the HEC project is to address the humanist aspect of climate, which is targetting towards creating education responding to present day needs. Humanists (literature researchers, critics, linguists, historians, didactic researchers) and educators with practical experience, all coming from V4 countries create a systematic, factually multi-faceted proposal for a humanistic education on climate, which will develop awareness of its state and threats as well as pro-climate attitudes. Introducing climate education in neighboring countries gives chance for limiting the destructive actions. The HEC educating forms’ and methods’ recommendations gravitate towards creating a new quality in education, combining traditional means with (6) digital education, as such fusion is essential in the XXI century, has been confirmed by 2020 pandemic and guarantee effective education reaching planned goals. 

The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, 
Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International 
Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for 
sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
