Ruth Crawford Mitchell Fellowship for Czech or Slovak professionals

The Nationality Rooms Program is proud to announce the Ruth Crawford Mitchell Fellowship for Czech or Slovak professionals to conduct research at the University of Pittsburgh during the 2015 Fall Term (late August to mid-December). The amount of the award is $7,000. A key component of this fellowship is that the applicant will connect with a University of Pittsburgh faculty member who will agree to serve as both advisor and mentor to the applicant. The scholar must include a reference from a University of Pittsburgh faculty member as part of the application. The submission deadline is March 30, 2015. Applicants will be notified of their status at the end of April 2015.

We invite your assistance in distributing this announcement to eligible and promising candidates in the fields of economics, political science, education, medicine, nursing, business, public administration, sociology, or other professions (students are not eligible) from the Czech or Slovak Republic. The details of the Ruth Crawford Mitchell Fellowship can be found here.

The application is PDF which must be emailed to Cristina Lagnese, Scholarship Administrator (mcl38@pitt.edu). A hard copy must be received by April 13 at the following address:
