Intervention of playful activities to change attitudes of pupils in school physical education

Annotation of achieved result: The survey analyzing the opinions and awareness of pupils of the second grade from 32 elementary schools in Slovakia (n=1858) about GPS and navigational game geocaching found out, that at least half of the respondents has never encountered the concept or game of geocaching. In total, 44,3 % of boys and 44,2 % of girls expressed their interest in inclusion of geocaching game into the physical and sport education. The experimental part confirmed, that the use of selected games using the GPS has brought positive result in change of attitudes of pupils (n=39) to physical and sport education. At the same time, the survey has found out in the experimental group, that boys and girls positively evaluated games realized with use of GPS and the most attractive games were the ones requiring demands of their activity and movements. The most attractive factor appeared to be fun 58,97 %.
