British history mid-semester written test (TEST I) Both groups (i.e. the Tuesday 10:40-11:20 & Wednesday 11:25-12:05) will be taking their mid-semester written test together, next week. The test will be given during our regular lecture time - 8:15 - 8:55 in Aula Beliana (the big auditorium hall in the main building). Make sure you arrive at the venue at least 20 minutes in advance, time will be at a premium. |

31 Oct 2023 | Next week, we will be looking at the Stuarts. We'll be analysing portraits by Hans Holbein and Anthony Van Dyck. In preparation, read the hand-out article and print out the seminar worksheet. |

11 Dec 2023 | There are now three Exam Dates in the AIS available for you to register for your British history exam. These are: 20 Dec 2023, 10 Jan 2024 and 24 Jan 2024. All of them at 14:00, in room F313. Sign up for one of them in the AIS to complete your assessment in the FIRST ATTEMPT (riadny termín) or to take a RESIT (= SECOND ATTEMPT, in Slovak 'opravný termín'). One more Exam Date will appear in the AIS after 24 January 2024. This will be given some time during the first week of February. After that, there will be no more Exam Dates in British history this semester. |

29 Jan 2024 | This is to announce that the VERY LAST TEST DATE in British History will be held on 7 February 2024. The exam will take place at 14:00 in F313. Please, register for your exam in the AIS. If you have any problem registering, don’t worry about AIS. Come and take your exam anyway. On 7 February you can take a resit of the whole course (comprising all the topics in the syllabus) or the End-of-semester test (those who have not taken it yet) covering topics 7 – 13. You should bear in mind, however, that this semester, there will be no additional test dates available.
